| County Fair Awards | Minimum of $25. Our awards are by incriments of $25. So if you wish to sponsor 4 awards, it will be $100. | Perhaps the most common way that people and organizations donate to our program! We give out over $7,000 worth of awards annually at the Gage County Fair. We are continuously looking for businesses, organizations, families and individuals that are interested in sponsoring our awards or shows. To donate in this category, email gage-county@unl.edu and let us know that you'd like to be on our county fair award sponsorship listing. We mail out sponsorship letters in January/February of every year and print your name in the Gage County 4-H/FFA fairbook (available mid-April) and announce our sponsors during our livestock shows at the Gage County Fair. |
| Special Awards/Activity Scholarships | Minimum of $25 | We have many special awards that we give to recognize the 4-H youth that highlight their 4-H experiences in their Career Portfolio/Achievement Application. These awards recognize their achievement in the 4-H program. Alongside these awards we also offer scholarships that 4-H'ers can apply for to increase their opportunities for 4-H experiences and participation. These scholarship range from $25 to $100 and can be used to learn a new skill at a workshop or clinic, attend a camp, and take an online class (to name a few). To donate in this category, email gage-county@unl.edu and let us know what type of award/scholarship you would like to sponsor. Typically these types of awards are named after the sponsor (or have a special meaningful name to go with the award parameters). Please indicate if you would like a recurring award (or a one-year award) in the email - we will check with you annually to make sure you still plan to sponsor the award. The Special Awards/Activity Scholarships are given out at the Gage County 4-H Achievement Program in November. |

Small Donations/Sponsorships |
Maximum of $2,000 | If you wish to send a small donation to the Gage County 4-H program, these donations can be made to the Gage County 4-H Council and mailed to PO Box 472 Beatrice, NE 68310. These donations are typically sponsoring the Gage County 4-H program in general and do not have any restrictions. If you have some ideas or projects for how the money should be used, please email gage-county@unl.edu or include a letter with your donation. |
| Large Donations/Memorials | Minimum of $500 | If you wish to make a larger donation to the Gage County 4-H program or establish a memorial for a loved one, these donations can be made online to the University of Nebraska Foundation under the Gage County 4-H Council Fund at https://nufoundation.org/fund/01034120/ and click “Give Now.” The NU Foundation does not keep track of what these donations are to be used for (if you want to put it toward something specific), so please contact the Gage County Extension Office to let us know of your donation and if there are any special projects the money is ear marked for). |
