The GROBigRed team is kicking off 2021 with some exciting new virtual learning options for gardeners across Nebraska. We’ll be starting with a double header on January 30 with Seed Starting (instructor: John Porter) and Indoor Plant Lights (instructor: Scott Evans).
The program is free. Sessions will be recorded and shared with those who are registered (even if they can’t attend live).

If you have a strong interest in gardening and enjoy helping others, you are invited to become a University of Nebraska Extension Master Gardener volunteer.
This program will increase your knowledge and understanding of such horticultural topics: best cultural practices for growing flowers, vegetables, turf, plant disease and insect pest identification, control, and much more. Instructors are Extension specialists, educators, associates, and horticulture professionals.

Lincoln, Neb. — Nebraska Extension is kicking off its annual fall conference “Road Shows” this week, offering a unique opportunity for all employees to connect with leadership, share ideas, and reflect on collective impact.
This conference series aims to bring together Nebraska Extension staff from across the state, creating a space to celebrate achievements, explore future programming ideas, and strengthen internal networks.
