Nebraska Extension in Keith and Arthur County provides the citizens of the community with research-based information and educational programs from the Institute of Agriculture and Natural Resources at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
With offices serving 93 counties across the state, Nebraska Extension is able to provide locally focused educational programs and expertise in the areas of agriculture, natural resources, nutrition, healthcare and technology.
Our staff of extension personnel have access to extension educators, extension specialists, technicians, and support personnel who specialize in providing programs throughout all of Nebraska's 93 counties. We contribute to more than 1.5 million educational contacts each year with Nebraska citizens. Statewide, 4-H touches the lives of more than 90,000 youth each year.
Nebraska Extension in Keith and Arthur County delivers research-based education and information to citizens throughout the county. These educational programs, delivered via a variety of methods, are offered through a federal, state and county partnership arrangement. Our objective is to provide programs and other educational resources locally.
University of Nebraska–Lincoln Extension is built to provide practical education that focuses on issues which influence daily life that helps to keep Nebraska competitive in a global society. Extension Specialists and Extension Educators are committed to a theme of excellence with educational programs customized to meet the needs of Nebraskans.

Our county office can connect you with regional Nebraska Extension educators who can help answer your questions about gardening, 4-H programs, pesticide application and more. Educators offer a wide variety of classes, workshops and trainings throughout the year for youth, families, farmers, ranchers and businesses within the community. We also provide sampling kits for water, soil, compost, manure, hay and feed.
