Post Fair Requirements
After the fair, any livestock participant that sold an animal in the sale is required to fill out a Project Record Sheet for each species sold unless they completed a Record Book for that species and was turned in at the fair. Youth are also required to complete a Thank You Card for each of their buyers. Unfortunately, due to the poor decisions of people prior, these cards need to get checked by the office. Please bring your completed thank you cards to the office in an unsealed, addressed envelope with a stamp on it.
Thank You Cards and Project Record Sheets are due each year on September 1st.
New for 2022 - Youth selling animals are required to fill out the appropriate Project Record Sheet and turn into the office (along with buyer’s thank you cards that have been addressed and have a stamp but not sealed) by September 1st. Any papers and thank yous turned in on or before that date will have their checks mailed to the primary address found on 4hOnline as soon as all buyers have paid and checks have been written. Paperwork turned in after Sept 1st will have checks mailed 10 office days in order to allow for time to check over papers. If Project Record Sheets and thank yous are not turned in by November 1st, a 5% handling fee will be assessed. Checks will be mailed 10 days after papers are turned in. If paperwork is not turned in by December 31st, youth must attend a livestock committee meeting to request your check. Additional fees may apply based on time lapsed.
