Filmore County Ag Safety Day 2026
Thursday May 21st 8:30 AM - 1:30 PM at the Fillmore County Fairgrounds
A fun filled day for children in 1st-6th grades (2025-26 school year)
Learning demonstrations and activities include topics such as: "Think Your Drink", Tractor Safety, Electrical safety, bike safety, hearing safety, firearm safety, pipeline safety, food safety, and home alone and okay.
Registration $5 by April 27th with a completed form per child
- Included: Lunch, Snacks, t-shirt & take-home bag
- $10 after the 27th (can't guarantee a t-shirt)
- Checks Payable to UNL Fillmore County

Join us for the Midwest FEEDS (Forage, Education, and Efficiency in Diversified Systems) Practicum, a hands-on, multi-session educational program designed to equip participants with essential skills for success in the cattle industry. This unique program leverages the competitive advantages of the Midwest, including access to perennial pastures, annual forages, cover crops, crop residues, and harvested feeds.
