Enter your projects at the county fair!

Enroll in 4-H and the projects you create at summer workshops or camps can  be entered in the Box Butte County Fair!

To register for 4-H

Woods & Welds

  • When: June 2nd and 3rd from 8 am to 4 pm both days
  • Where: Alliance High School Ag Building
  • Who: Ages 12+
  • Cost: $30 made to Alliance FFA
  • Please bring a sack lunch
  • Register by: May 21st

Become emersed in two STEM projects with Alliance FFA.

 You will create a wood working and welding project during this two day workshop.

 

Fitting & Showmanship

  • When: June 9th, 9 am to 2 pm
  • Where: Box Butte County Fairgrounds
  • Who: Ages 8+
  • Cost: $5
  • Please bring a sack lunch
  • Register by: June 1st

Gain valuable insight from 4-H Alumni on fitting and showing your beef, sheep, and goat animals.

Marvelous Muffins: Bake it to Fair

  • When: June 15th from 10 am to 12 pm
  • Where: Box Butte Extension Office
  • Who: Ages 8+
  • Cost: $15
  • Please bring a sack lunch if staying for the Photography workshop
  • Register by: June 1st

Participants will learn basic baking skills, mix and bake muffins, and experiment with different flavors and mix-ins to create their own unique recipe.

Snap & Shoot

  • When: June 15th from 1 pm to 3 pm
  • Where: Box Butte Extension Office
  • Who: Ages 8+
  • Cost: $15
  • Please bring a sack lunch if coming from the Muffin Workshop

Come create 4 projects in 1 day! Youth will create a bookshelf, doormat, tray, and a crate ottoman!

Building Better Babysitters

  • When: June 23rd from 8:30 am to 4 pm
  • Where: Box Butte Extension Office
  • Who: Ages 10+
  • Cost: $35
  • Register by: June 15th

Become the Best Babysitter you can be by attending this class to learn child care basics, CPR, safety, and more!

Sew-tastic Workshop

  • When: June 24th from 8 am to 4 pm
  • Where: Box Butte Extension Office
  • Who: Ages 8+
  • Cost: $25
  • Please bring a sack lunch and a pair of jean shorts.
  • Register by: June 15th

Design a new outfit at this summer workshop. Youth will burn hats, design a t-shirt and create a skirt from jean shorts.

Clover Kid Exploration

  • When: July 6th from 9 am to 2 pm
  • Where: Box Butte Extension Office
  • Who: Ages 5-7
  • Cost: $20
