Thank you!

A huge thank you goes out to everyone who helped in even the smallest way during the year with 4-H and county fairs! Each year I am always amazed by the great families that we have in 4-H! Thank you for all your time, knowledge and resources that you provide to youth in the 4-H program.

You are awesome!

IMPORTANT ~ Thank Donors

Please be sure to thank donors who have supported the 4-H Program through trophies, incentives, volunteering time or other ways. Some great ways to thank donors are to:

  • write a thank you note
  • stop by their home or business to give a personal thank you
  • bake them a plate of cookies
  • send them a photo of you and your project
  • put a thank you in your local newspaper.

Thanking our donors is an important part of their continuing support from year to year so please take the time to thank the supporters of the 4-H Program.

If you have questions about who you need to thank or who a donor for something may have been, please contact your local Nebraska Extension Office.

Support 4-H at Casey's

From September 30 – October 31, 2026, Casey’s and 4-H are joining forces to strengthen the communities they call home. With more than 2,900 stores across the Midwest and South, and more than 2.5 million active 4-H’ers in those areas, this partnership is helping more young people become Beyond Ready to lead and give back – locally and beyond.

You can help support 4-H at Casey’s in two easy ways:

- September 30 - October 11: round up your in-store purchase to donate to 4-H.

- September 30 – October 31: add a donation in any order made online or in the Casey’s app.

Planning for 2027!

While we are closing in on the end of the 2026 4-H year, the 2027 4-H year will soon be upon us! We want to know what you would like to learn. Is there a topic you are really interested in and would like to attend a workshop on? Do you know someone that would be really good at teaching a skill used in a 4-H project?

Kimberly is looking for ideas from 4-H’ers and their families on what kind of 4-H workshops you would like to see in 2027. Please call you local office and let Kimberly know what you want to learn more about in 2027.

Your 4‑H Adventure is About to Begin!

4‑H helps young people learn important skills, gain real life experiences, and build strong relationships so they're ready for work, life, and their future. 4‑H also helps youth learn how to learn!

The 4‑H Project to Pathway Plan, shares the main steps for completing 4‑H project work. It is to be used by 4‑H youth and their Spark Supporter. With the 4‑H Project to Pathway Plan, youth are taking the first step to find out what they like, what they are good at, what makes them happy, and where they want to go. The guide will help youth make theiryour own learning plan, and it helps youth think about what they learned through their 4‑H project and how the learning will help them with a future job and life.

Start with a Spark, then Shape, Share, and Shine your 4‑H project today!
