QuickBooks Software workshop: March 5 at Scottsbluff

A QuickBooks Desktop for Farm and Ranch Record Keeping workshops will be held March 5 from 9 a.m. -5 p.m. at the Panhandle Research & Extension Center in Scottsbluff. Go NAP SACC training for child-care providers: March 7, 14 in Scottsbluff

Nebraska Extension will offer an interactive workshop for child care center and family home providers, called Go NAP SACC, March 7 and 14 from 5:30 - 9 p.m. at the Scotts Bluff County Extension Office, 4502 Avenue I, Scottsbluff. Go NAP SACC (Go Nutrition and Physical Activity Self-Assessment for Child Care) is a free in-service opportunity for child care providers that takes providers through five simple steps to make healthy changes to their programs to promote healthy child development by supporting healthy eating and physical activity for the children. Chemigation training in Bridgeport, Scottsbluff

Nebraska Extension will conduct chemigation certification training sessions through early April at Bridgeport, and Scottsbluff, as well as other sites around Nebraska, such as North Platte and Ainsworth. Producers who plan to apply crop nutrients and pesticides through irrigation systems during 2019, including those who need to renew their 2018 permits, are required to attend a training session and pass the test administered afterward. Attendees are asked to pre-register at the extension office whose session they plan to attend. Pesticide applicator training in western Nebraska

Nebraska Extension will be offering training throughout western Nebraska, from January through April, for licensed pesticide applicators seeking first-time certification or recertification of their license for 2019.
A license is required to use or purchase or apply restricted-use pesticides. Extension provides training for several classes of certification, including commercial, non-commercial (such as local government or research purposes) and private applicators (such as ag producers). Read more.
