Are you thinking about exhibiting at the Nebraska State Fair 4-H Livestock Show for the first time? Here is a list of topics that may be different from the local County Fair. The general summary may help a 4-H family in becoming more prepared to exhibit at the Nebraska State Fair 4-H Livestock Show. - Advanced Entries Due
ShoWorks Entries due August 10 by 5 pm central time (Beef, Sheep, Swine, Rabbit, Poultry, Goat, Dairy, Dairy Judging Contest, and Dog) entered by 4-H families.For more information or to begin registration, go to the State Fair website:https://www.statefair.org/ag-competitions/4-h-ffa-exhibitors/. Entries fees must be paid by credit card. There are no other options for payment.
- In Person Entries
ShoWorks In Person Entries due August 10 by 5 pm central time (Presentations, Fashion Shows, Contests) entered by 4-H Families. There are a variety of opportunities to volunteer from 4-H exhibit hall hosts, contest volunteers, livestock office assistants, etc. 4-H parents and volunteers, older 4-H members, families, friends of 4-H and others are invited to be a volunteer. AKSARBEN
AKSARBEN Foundation began a new partnership with the Grand Island Livestock Complex Authority and the relocation of the AKSARBEN Stock Show and Purple Ribbon Auction to Grand Island, NE in 2017. The livestock facilities located at Fonner Park will host the event. Go to their web page for information on entry deadlines and forms, health requirements, premium book, schedules, and maps.
