Are you thinking about exhibiting at the Nebraska State Fair 4-H Livestock Show for the first time? Here is a list of topics that may be different from the local County Fair. The general summary may help a 4-H family in becoming more prepared to exhibit at the Nebraska State Fair 4-H Livestock Show.
- Advanced Entries Due
ShoWorks Entries due August 10 by 5 pm central time (Beef, Sheep, Swine, Rabbit, Poultry, Goat, Dairy, Dairy Judging Contest, and Dog) entered by 4-H families.For more information or to begin registration, go to the State Fair website:

- In Person Entries

- Volunteering at the Nebraska State Fair
There are a variety of opportunities to volunteer from 4-H exhibit hall hosts, contest volunteers, livestock office assistants, etc. 4-H parents and volunteers, older 4-H members, families, friends of 4-H and others are invited to be a volunteer. AKSARBEN Foundation began a new partnership with the Grand Island Livestock Complex Authority and the relocation of the AKSARBEN Stock Show and Purple Ribbon Auction to Grand Island, NE in 2017.
