Holt County’s 2021 4-H Achievement Night was held Sunday, October 24th at The Alley in Atkinson. During the Awards Ceremony 4-H Youth and their families enjoyed pizza and pop. After the awards ceremony 4-H youth bowled a game. Holt County 4-H Council sponsored the event!
4-H Membership pins and certificates were presented to first, fifth, and tenth year members.
Leader/Volunteers are recognized for their years of service with a pin and certificate at 1, 5, 10, 15, 20, and 25 years. The following Leaders/Volunteers were recognized this year.

Community Pride Certificates are presented to clubs that performed acts of community service throughout the year. The following clubs received Community Pride Certificates: Brush Creek, Cloverdale, Horses Unlimited and Shinning Stars.
4-H Club of Excellence awards are presented to clubs that met a certain criteria and that documented how that criteria was met. The following clubs received Club of Excellence awards: Brush Creek and Cloverdale.
Record-keeping is a lifelong skill, so the 4-H Council honors every Achievement Application that is turned in. All participants received a ribbon, as well as a gift.

The Nebraska 4-H Diamond Clover program encourages 4-H youth to engage in a variety of programs, projects, and activities that will enable the youth to acquire skills and abilities that will prepare them for success in the future. The program consists of 6 levels that require the 4-H’er to plan and report a broad range of age-appropriate accomplishments. For each level, there is a list of accomplishments from which 4-H youth choose their goals. The accomplishments increase in quantity and difficulty for each level. Successful completion of a level's Plan & Report form results in a 4-H youth earning that level of the Diamond Clover program. Receiving the follow certificates and pins:

Shooting Sports Awards:
Three youth were recognized as Outstanding Shooting Sports Junior Leaders. Matthew Koehlmoos, Oliver Shane, and Kade Youngblood all went through apprentice discipline leader training this year.
Huge thanks to Sarah Mitchell and Kelsey Howard for serving as youth representatives on 4-H Council this past year. Big welcome to the new 4-H Council Members: Denise Pinkerman, Teagan Butterfield, and Lillian Hoerle.
