*With the release of dicamba-tolerant soybeans, there was a vast increase in sensitive crop damage throughout the country in 2017. For 2018, there are several training options designed to fulfill the label requirements for three new RUP dicamba products: XtendiMax, Engenia, and FeXapan. It is illegal to apply these products without first having taken state-authorized training.

Chemigation

The chemigation certification program is responsible for training Nebraska producers about the Nebraska Chemigation Act and the Rules and Regulations as developed by the NDEQ. Certification applicants are required to attend a training program and pass an exam. The Act allowed the NDEQ to contract with the University of Nebraska to deliver the training program.
