Haskell Ag Lab Family Field Day 2021 Information - Wednesday, June 30th
The University of Nebraska-Lincoln Haskell Agricultural Laboratory will be holding a Science & Ag Family Field Day. This is a free and open to the public event. All ages are welcome and encouraged to attend. There will be a variety of activities and programs at this event. Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. at the farm site with booths and activities scheduled from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Focus

To encourage youth and adults of all ages to discover scientific concepts and gain knowledge. Science & Ag theme is inspired by the science literacy efforts supported by the University of Nebraska–Lincoln.  The Field Day also provides an opportunity to showcase the research and programs happening at the Haskell Ag Lab and University of Nebraska-Lincoln programming in northeast Nebraska.

Schedule and Presenters

8:30 Registration begins and continues all day (pick up your $10 lunch voucher tickets at registration table)

Session 1 – 10 AM to 11 AM (Tracks A and B will run concurrently) Each topic in sessions will be 20 minutes.

Track A (Ag Land Management) - in the Yellow Shop Building

12:30     Ribbon Cutting Ceremony by the Laurel Chamber of Commerce to welcome Haskell Ag Lab (in the Middle Shop area)
              Dr. Michael Boehm, Vice Chancellor of the Institute of Agriculture and Natural Resources at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln
              will provide an IANR update following the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony.

1:00       Backyard Farmer Panel (in the Yellow Shop Building)

Food trucks will be on site for lunch.  Each attendee will receive one voucher worth $10 for use at the food trucks. Hand sanitizing stations will be located at the event.
