Youth for the Quality Care of Animals (YQCA)
Required for all 4-H livestock exhibitors. Excluding horse and Clover Kids.
In 2024, Jen is teaching Youth for the Quality Care of Animals sessions throughout GLW. This program is a national requirement for all youth ages 8-18 planning to exhibit poultry, rabbits, sheep, goats, swine, beef and dairy. The cost of the in-person program is $3. Registration and payment is made through the online platform, yqcaprogram.org. We appreciate if members also RSVP through the office to address online registration issues before participation in classes.

An online option is available and can be accessed at yqcaprogram.org. Help sheets for YQCA can be found by selecting Youth & Parents in the dropdown from the More Info tab. The new platform is not connected to 4-H Online so the office will be unable to help with login issues. It does, however, allow the creation of one family account through which you can add children. The cost of the online program is $12. Online program requires submission of certificate of completion to the office.
New in 2024! The YQCA completion deadline has been moved up to June 15th.
