In 2016, Emerald Ash Borer was confirmed in Nebraska resulting in many homeowners being concerned about their trees. Elizabeth Killinger, extension educator with Nebraska Extension in Hall County, will share information about the Emerald Ash Borer, what to look for in your ash trees, and management decisions for homeowners to consider. This program will be held on Monday, May 1st at 6:30PM at the Garfield County Courthouse. In the presentation, Elizabeth will teach about borer identification, tree care and what options you may have for replacing your ash trees. She will also be available to answer your gardening questions at the conclusion of the program. We encourage you to bring pictures and information to accompany your questions to get the most accurate answers.
