2026 Ag Safety Day
Thursday May 21st 8:30 AM - 1:30 PM at the Fillmore County Fairgrounds
A fun filled day for children in 1st-6th grades (2025-26 school year)
Learning demonstrations and activities include topics such as: "Think Your Drink", Tractor Safety, Electrical safety, bike safety, hearing safety, firearm safety, pipeline safety, food safety, and home alone and okay.
Registration $5 by April 27th with a completed form per child
- Included: Lunch, Snacks, t-shirt & take-home bag
- $10 after the 27th (can't guarantee a t-shirt)
- Checks Payable to UNL Fillmore County

Marathon Kids Fillmore County
Join us this summer in Geneva as we run, jog and walk a marathon!
This summer run club is intended to be a fun way to encourage physical activity over the summer. Marathon Kids coach, Alise, will lead the group each week in planned activities, while also focusing on a different health and physical activity topic.
Who: Youth who will be entering 2nd through 6th grade this next fall
When: Every Tuesday from 10:00-10:45 am June 2nd through July 21st

2026 NE 4-H Summer Camps
2026 NE 4-H Summer Camps
During the 2026 Exploring Ecosystems season, campers will explore Nebraska’s natural world, discover how ecosystems connect, and learn how they can help care for the environment - all while having fun at camp!
The Nebraska State 4-H Camp is offering both day camps and overnight camp opportunities. Camp will return to Chadron for a 5 day overnight session Update 4/20/26 Chadron is Full (June 15-19) for youth ages 8–14.
Update 4/20/26 Still available spots Day camps will be held in Grand Island (June 30) and Lincoln (July 22) for youth ages 8–12 providing a great introduction to the camp experience.
