About ENREC Programs

The University of Nebraska Eastern Nebraska Research and Extension Center districts encompass 53 counties and include a wide array of research projects and educational programs.  The University of Nebraska Eastern Nebraska Research and Extension Center (ENREC) was formerly the University of Nebraska's Agricultural Research and Development Center near Mead, Nebraska.  ENREC restructures the research and education area to  include research programs at the Mead site, the Southeast Extension District, the Northeast Extension District, and the Metro Extension District.

Extension programs focus on Beef Systems, The Learning Child, Community Environment, Community Vitality Initiative, Cropping and Water Systems, Food, Nutrition & Health, and 4-H Youth Development.  Learn more about these programs in the menu bar on this site.

Here we feature a few programs, as well as exciting ventures bringing research and education to Nebraskans and people around the nation and the world.
