Omaha, Neb. –Parents and children ages 5-7 are invited to be a part of the Douglas-Sarpy 4-H Clover Kid Program. The primary goal of Clover Kids is to promote the child's stages of development - intellectually, physically, socially, and emotionally. Participants can enroll in the Douglas-Sarpy 4-H program and participate in all the program’s contests, events, and county fair.
Dates and programs include:
- January 18, 2022 – Smart Cents Financial Literacy
- February 15, 2022 – Science Spectacular
- March 15, 2022 – Chickens and learning more about the 4-H Speech Contest
- April 19, 2022 – Gardening Basics and Learning about Rabbits
The programs (unless otherwise noted) will be held from 6-7 pm at the Douglas-Sarpy Extension office. All events are subject to change if the COVID status of our community changes.
The program is designed to provide 5- to 7-year-olds a variety of educational and recreational experiences in a non-competitive environment. Clover Kids provide an excellent opportunity for youth to achieve his/her highest potential because early life experiences affect future development.
Nebraska Extension Douglas-Sarpy Counties is located at 8015 West Center Road, Omaha. There is no cost to attend, but participants are asked to preregister with Rachel at email@example.com.
