Survey Data on Rental Rates for Agricultural Land

Rental rates for irrigated, dryland and pasture acres are a common question received by our office. There are two resources that can be used to start a conversation between land owner and tenant: 1) UNL Department of Ag Economics Survey published every March that covers land values as well as cash rents and 2) USDA NASS Cash Rent Survey published every other year.

For the 2018 UNL Ag Econ survey, visit the Cornhusker Economics page. Copies of the current versions of these surveys as well as how these prices have changed over the last three years for eastern and northeast Nebraska, please visit the following Cash Rent Rates page on the Crop Tech Cafe blog.
