MEET OUR NEW BEEF EDUCATOR

Hello, I am Ryan Benjamin. I grew up in Eastern Oregon on a small ranch and was very involved in FFA during high school. I attended college at the University of Wyoming where I received a bachelor’s degree in rangeland ecology and watershed management with a minor in farm and ranch management in 2019 and a master’s degree in rangeland ecology and watershed management in the summer of 2021. My master's research was focused on monitoring public lands grazing in Wyoming.

I am excited to be here in Cherry County to serve as the new Livestock Systems Educator with Nebraska Extension and look forward to working with everyone here.
