Livestock Sale Promotion

It is the responsibility of the youth participating in the Livestock Sale to promote the sale to attain the success all hope to have for the 4-H/FFA animals.  Effort should be made to personally visit with potential buyers.  Past experience shows that those 4-Hers who visit with possible buyers ahead of the sale are the ones whose animals bring the highest bids.  To help with the promotion, a brochure containing information about the sale can be printed.  It is not too early to begin one of the final essential steps of your livestock project.... marketing your product.

Special Foods Contest

The Cherry County Special Foods Contest will be held July 2.  Entries are due June 25.  Information about preparing for the contest is available in the Special Foods Handbook.  The entry form is listed with the other County Fair Entry forms on this site and can be printed from there or obtained from the office.

Home Environment Information Tag

Entries in some Home Environment classes and Quilt Quest classes require supporting information tags to be included.  A template for this information is available here.

Food Preservation Card

All Food Preservation exhibits must include specific information about the preservation process.  This template can be used to provide that information.
