2019 NATIONAL WESTERN 4-H CATCH-A-CALF APPLICANTS WANTED 4-H members from Nebraska, Colorado, Wyoming, and Kansas are eligible to submit applications. However, any 4-H member who has previously caught a calf in the 4-H Catch-A-Calf Contest is not eligible to apply. 4-H members may apply online at: http://www.nationalwestern.com/livestock-shows/catch-a-calf-contest or check with your Nebraska Extension Office.
The new QA Curriculum called Youth for the Quality Care of Animals (YQCA) is now active!
The web-based 4-H Pick Your Project Guide will assist youth, parents, and volunteers with learning about the project opportunities and then easily locating the same project in 4HOnline. Using the web-based Pick Your Project application, users will be able to search for projects by keywords, project areas, curriculum areas, experience levels, and projects that contain State Fair and/or County Fair eligible entries.
The Hyannis Sandbots 4-H Club competed in the 2016-17 First Lego League Qualifier held at Sidney on January 21, 2017 at which they were awarded the Robot Design trophy. 

Members of the team are Gavin, Riley and Miles Anderson, Gary Brennemann, Ben and Jake Connell, Layton Deibler, Ethan Haney, and Chase Huffman. Head coach of this new 4-H Robotics Club is Susan Connell. 

The Central Sandhills Mech Techs 4-H Club competed in the 2016-17 First Lego League Qualifier held at Sidney on January 21, 2017.
