Division 100: Aerospace
*K100001 - Paper airplane - make and display a paper airplane, which will fly.
*K100002 - Edible rocket - build and display a rocket that can be eaten.
*K100003 - Lego build - spaceship or spacesuit built with Legos.
Division 200: Bicycle Adventures
*K200001 - Hand signals - poster showing the correct road hand signals.
*K200002 - Balance chart - make a maintain balance chart similar to the one on page 28 in the manual. Use it to check your balance.
*K200003 - Parts of a bike - poster showing the parts of a bicycle.
Division 300: A Space for Me
*K300001 – Treasure Board made using directions from A Space for Me Helpers’ Guide.
*K300002 - Decorative storage box or container.
*K300003 - Cleaning kit - in a bucket, tote or basket, assemble the products and equipment needed to clean your room (use pictures of large items).
*K300004 - Tie Pillow.
*K300005 – Swirl Painting or Sponge Painting made using directions from A Space for Me Helpers’ Guide. May be 2 dimensional or 3 dimensional.
Division 400: Animal Caretaker
*K400001 - Clover Kids may exhibit animals at the fair (on entry form please specify class(es) from pages 64-68) if they comply with all of the following:
a. Animal must be a bucket calf, sheep, swine, goat, poultry, rabbit, cat or small animal.
b. Animal will not exceed 350 pounds.
c. Animal may be borrowed from a 4-H member.
d. Clover Kids will show their animal at an appropriately assigned time in a non-competitive manner at the county fair.
e. Animals are not eligible for the livestock sale.
*K400002 - Create a pretend pet using clay, play dough or similar media.
*K400003 - Create a mobile or collage featuring one group of animals (mammals, reptiles, birds, etc.).
Division 500: Family Celebrations Around the World
*K500001 - Poster showing a family celebration.
*K500002 - Piñata.
*K500003 - Carp kite.
Division 600: Just Outside the Door
*K600001 - Potted plant or item grown in your garden.
*K600002 - An insect in a jar (with a tight fitting lid!). Label the jar with your name, your age and the type of insect.
*K600003 - Bird feeder.
Division 700: Making Food for Me
*K700001 - Healthy Snack - four cookies, bars or muffins, on a paper plate, or at least 1 cup of snack mix in zip close bag. (Any recipe, include a copy.) Items that require refrigeration will not be accepted.
*K700002 - “Save a Place for Me” Placemat - color and decorate the center page in project book. May be laminated with clear contact paper.
*K700003 - Decorated Cupcake – one on a paper plate. Edible decorations only please.
Division 800: Theater Arts 1
*K800001 - Puppet - any type of puppet you create (i.e. bag or sock puppet)
*K800002 - Superhero - make a costume out of things you find around the house and submit a photo of you in your costume. Give yourself a superhero name and tell what your super power is.
*K800003 - Storybook - write a story and illustrate it with pictures.
Division 850: Fun with Photography
Photos may be any size up to 5”x7” taken by the exhibitor during the past 12 months with any camera or device. Mount on 8”x10” black cardstock.
*K850001 - 4-H Experience – one photo of a static or livestock project you worked on.
*K850002 - Favorite Places or Things – one photo of scenery or still life.
Division 900: Decorate Your Duds
*K900001 - Model a t-shirt (which you decorated) at the public fashion show during the county fair. Note: Clover Kids do not have to attend clothing judging day but will need to complete a narration form (available at central4.unl.edu/4hforms).
Division 950: Clover Catch All
*K950001 - Item made at a 4-H workshop (enter up to two)
*K950002 - Item made at a 4-H club meeting
