Nebraska 4-H requires all youth enrolled in livestock projects to complete annual quality assurance training through Youth for the Quality Care of Animals (YQCA).

YQCA is a national multi-species quality assurance program focused on three core pillars:
food safety,  animal well-being, and character development

Due to University Guidelines, there will not be any more in-person trainings offered this year. Youth will need to complete the online training to obtain their YQCA certifate. The Cass County 4-H Council voted to purchased web-based traning codes so our 4-H members can take this training at NO COST!!! Thank you 4-H Council!

Contact Tammy Cavanaugh at 402-267-2205 or email:  to receive your free YQCA Code.

Please note: 4-Hers must be enrolled as an active member for 2020 before taking the YQCA training
