The Buffalo County 4-H Performing Arts Contest will be held at 7 p.m. on Monday, May 18th at the Merryman Performing Arts Center. The contest is open to all enrolled 4-H youth ages 5-18. Encourage youth to share their talents of singing, playing an instrument, dancing or other special performance skills. Groups are encouraged to enter.

Each group must have two or more participants, and all must be 4-H members. Each group may appear with a director, if the director is a 4-H member, leader, or parent. Accompanists for song groups must be 12 years old or older and be a 4-H member, leader or parent. Clover Kids (ages 5-7 as of Jan 1 of current year) are welcome to perform as well. Groups can select any number of songs of their choice to be sung within the 6-minute limit. Individuals and groups may give up to one performance per class.
Groups consisting of both junior (ages 8-11 as of Jan 1 of current year) and senior (ages 12 and up as of Jan 1 of current year) will compete in the senior division. Individuals may perform with a group, duet and as a soloist.
