CLOVER KIDS
The purpose of Clover Kids program is to promote the positive development of youth to become competent, caring, contributing citizens. The learning experience is the primary reason for involvement in the program. Clover Kids exhibits are non-competitive and are not eligible for the state fair.
4-H Clover Kids participants receive participation ribbons only; no trophies, premiums or awards are given.
Exhibitors must be at least five years of age and not older than eight years of age by January 1 or the current year and enrolled in 4-H Clover Kids. Pre-registration and entry/release requirements are outlined below. Animals need to follow health regulations in fair book for each animal species (refer to appropriate division).

MAKING FOODS FOR ME
Exhibited baked items need to be non-perishable and needing non-refrigeration. No cream cheese or dairy products may result in unsafe food product by the time the item is judged due to unpredictable heat/weather conditions and will be disqualified.

950047 Food Cards — Neatly cut and colored Food Cards, in self-sealing plastic bag or other secure container. (Pages 67 - 69 Leaders Guide)
950048 Grain Collage — Neatly cut and pasted pictures of grains cutout and displayed on collage. (Page 40 Leaders Guide)
950049 Dairy Tasting Party — Completed Dairy Tasting Party form from Project Book. May be copied or cut from manual. Laminating or exhibiting the form in a plastic sleeve is acceptable.
950050 Protein Collage — Neatly cut and pasted pictures of protein sources and foods displayed on collage. (Page 53 of Leaders Guide)
950051 Healthy Snack — Four cookies, bars, muffins, etc., on a paper plate. or at least 1 cup of mix. (Examples might include: snack mix made from a cereal base, no-bake or simple cookie or granola bar)
950052 Fruit & Vegetable Tasting Party — Completed Apple Tasting form, page 7 and/or Vegetable Tasting Party form, page 8 from Project Book Forms may be copied or cut from the manual. Laminating or exhibiting the forms in a plastic sleeve is acceptable.

One exhibit may be shown at Show and Tell. Clover Kids may choose from the following:
Individual project:

950056 Small animals — Cat, dog, rabbit, poultry, pocket pet. Small animals are shown as a Show and Tell activity only. Animals must follow all health regulations for their species. For safety, small animals must be housed in appropriate cages/carriers (dogs on leashes). All small animals are to be brought to the fair the day of Show and Tell only.
Group club project:
