Clarity, Focus, Action, our signature professional development workshop, teaches life coaching skills. It is designed to help you help others get clear on where they want to go, get focused on the various paths to get there, and then move them into action. The coaching skills derived from this workshop will be useful to you if you supervise others - and almost everyone in our system either directly supervises others or works with someone that needs a little nudge because they are 'stuck'.

Achieving the Extension Mission Through Volunteers

Continued change, infusion of trust, respect, cooperation and support is vitally important for teams.
Teamwork: Trusting, Leading, Communicating is a workshop rooted in the belief that individuals within the team are vital to the effectiveness of the team, and teams are critical to the success of the organization. The experiential activities in this workshop assist team members in the development and understanding of their distinctive identity and strengths.
This workshop is a result of Extension team leaders asking for help developing the skills needed to be effective. This two-day learning opportunity includes presentations, personal reflection, audience participation, case studies and exercises you can apply to your immediate and long-term needs as a team leader. The Eureka! Conference is held each Spring as an opportunity to connect Nebraska Extension professionals. The 2015 Conference was held March 17 & 18 in Omaha. The focus of the event was engagement in the modern land-grant university.
