Nebraska Farmland Values and Cash Rental Rates in 2023 2023 Final Results Updated June 30, 2023.

The February 1, 2023, Nebraska all-land average value of $3,835 per acre marks a 14% increase from the prior year. This marks the second-largest increase in the market value of agricultural land since 2014 and the highest non-inflation-adjusted statewide land value in the survey's history.

A survey of agricultural custom operators is conducted in Nebraska every two years. A total of 193 survey responses were received in 2022 with information reflecting the current rates charged by custom operators for machine hire services and other work they provide for neighboring farms and ranches or as part of a business enterprise that covers a broader area. Survey participants identified by Nebraska Extension personnel, or in some cases, self- identified custom operators, received a paper survey or a web link to complete the custom rates survey online.

Scholarship opportunities are for Harlan County 4-H youth who are active participants in the Harlan County 4-H Program. Please give attention to age requirements, as there are some restrictions. If you are planning on asking 4-H Staff for a Letter of Recommendation, please allow 2 weeks or more notice to allow adequate time to complete before the deadline.
