IDENTIFICATION OF ANIMALS

All beef, goat, horse, rabbit, sheep, and swine must identified with the respective Identification Form by the June 15 deadline. If you are identifying with a DNA envelope, you DO NOT need to complete a county fair identification form as the DNA will serve as both the state and county identification.

Dual Animal Identification
You may dual identify a female heifer, doe, ewe, or gilt as both a market animal and a breeding animal. However, you must keep in mind that the animal can only be entered and exhibited ONCE as either a breeding or market animal. No animal can be exhibited as both a breeding and market animal at the county fair or state fair. You will need to decide what division (breeding or market) at the time of county fair or state fair entry.
