Youth for the Quality Care of Animals Training is required for all 4-H members showing BEEF, GOATS, POULTRY, RABBITS, SHEEP, OR SWINE at County or State Fair.
You will need to complete your YQCA certification using the website! Please go to yqcaprogram.org and log in if you are a returning 4-H member or if a new 4-H family, set up your family account and add 4-H members.
There will be no Instructor Led Training by Scotts Bluff County 4-H in 2024.
You can train on-line for a cost of $12 at yqcaprogram.org. Farm Bureau is given us a donation for YQCA training, one half of the $12 fee per 4-H member. Call the Extension Office 308-632-1480 for coupon codes.

Members must be Quality Assurance certified by July 1 this year to be eligible to compete at the County Fair.
Steps to download YQCA certificates:
- Log in to your YQCA family portal at yqcaprogram.org
- Click on your blue name button on the top right hand side of the web page.
- Click on Course Certificates
- Download your course certificates
- Email the downloaded certificates OR send a CLEAR picture to scotts-bluff-county@unl.edu.
