Volunteer Enrollment

Many thanks go to the wonderful volunteers who step up to say, "Yes, I will help with 4-H."  It's a worthy, important, and fullfilling thing to do!

Volunteers sign up on 4HOnline, just like the students:
  • If a volunteer is a part of an already enrollment 4-H family (have kids in 4-H), he/she needs to add their individual volunteer profile to the already established family profile.
  • If a volunteer does not have kids in 4-H make, he/she must make their own family profile.
  • Volunteers must also complete and submit a DHHS Youth Protectin 4-H Volunteer Screening form for the Adult and Child Abuse and Neglect Register/Registry.  The University of Nebraska-Lincoln and Cass County has a strong interest in protecting the safety of all youth in all UNL-sponsored programs and events, including those offered through the UNL Extension 4-H Youth Development Program.  More information about the Youth Activity Safety Policy can be found at this link:  Youth Activity Safety Policy
When volunteers register, it is VERY important to use a working email address, one that you check regularly, because most communications about 4-H activities, events, workshops, fair information, deadlines, etc take place through 4HOnline.  If your email changes, PLEASE give the new contact information to the 4-H Office at cass-county@unl.edu.  Thank you!
