We wanted to share that the statewide Co-parenting for Successful Kids program has implemented the following steps to support County offices to protect the health and safety of its employees and our customers.

The University of Nebraska–Lincoln strives to make college affordable for all families.  Nebraska offers among the lowest tuition in the Big Ten, and students find Nebraska a great value.  The majority of families with students going to college fill out the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) because it’s the best way to get help paying for college.  It helps determine financial aid eligibility and it is a requirement in order to be considered for many scholarships, grants and various tuition assistance programs at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln.  If you are a senior in high school, now is the time to complete and submit your FAFSA.  April 1 is the priority deadline to submit your FAFSA to ensure you are considered for all availabl

Emerald Ash Borer (EAB) has been confirmed again in the center part of the state in Grand Island.

The Nebraska EAB Working Group, which includes NDA, the USDA, Nebraska Game and Parks and the Nebraska Forest Services, offers the following suggestions to help prevent the human-assisted spread of the insect:

The Nutrition Education Program (NEP) helps families on a limited budget improve the quality of their diet and become more physically active. NEP participants acquire the knowledge, skills, attitudes, and behavior changes necessary to improve their health. NEP is free to all participants who meet income guidelines. We believe in education of our Youth and want to help them achieve their dreams. Here are a few Scholarships available to Adams County youth and 4-H members Application rules and deadlines vary per scholarship

Next Chapter is a college-readiness program delivered through the Nebraska 4-H program that helps students prepare for and succeed in college by providing the skills students need to reach their academic goals. It consists of four Chapters with the intent to complete one chapter a year. By completing Next Chapter and being enrolled in 4-H, you will be pre-admitted to the University of Nebraska – Lincoln.
